I need DH to see what other people think of this,my MIL don't get along but I realized that a lot of it is my fault for not having a spine and stopping her behavior to begin with so insted of cutting her out of our lives we decided to give standing up to her a chance,she has resorted to Passive Aggressive behavior but nothing that's unmanageable yet,the issue now is that she's angry she can't take DD by herself but my mom can,DH and I are going to give her one explanation and if she continues the "but it's not fair" BS then a TO will be in order,The reason she cannot take DD alone anymore is because of 2 incidents.
1.)we allowed her to come pick DD up and asked where she planned to take her,she stated twice that they were going to AILs house and back to our home and that was it,we later found out from DD that they never went to AILs they went to the circus in a town over an hour from our home that she had already bought tickets for.
2.)We dropped DD off at MILs house with the instructions that they were NOT to leave unless we were contacted and told where they were going,a month later MIL handed me a packet of professional pictures she had taken of my DD on said day without my or my husbands knowledge or approval!
And this is less of an incident and more of a reason,she's had 3 DUIs in the last 10 years and I found out she was driving with SIL(14) in the car while drunk.
For these reasons MIL is not allowed to take DD alone,we have explained to her that the reason my mom is allowd to is because she will NOT take DD anywhere without permission from us but apparently she didn't catch on that that's why she can't take her alone,my question that DH needs to see the answers to is,is it "unfair" that my mother is allowed to take DD and MIL is not,I know it's fair because MIL does not follow rules but DH has a unicorn and it needs to he shot and killed can you ladies help?
