We've been asking the IL's for weeks if we were doing anything for Christmas. We were trying to make plans, but not everyone in the family had gotten back to the IL's
Fast forward to today. The only Christmas plans we have are tomorrow night-- a Christmas party with friends. What day do the IL's decide to have their Christmas? Tomorrow night.
So we come to find out that BIL, who seriously only stays at family gatherings for about half-an-hour, tries to control everything the kids are doing and still piggybacks on his parents Christmas gifts (he's 35) wants to do it tomorrow. He doesn't have plans for Christmas. Just feels like doing it the one day we can't make it.
BIL is mommy's special snowflake. The whole world must bow to what he feels like doing. Because he throws tantrums whenever he doesn't get his way, DH misses Christmas with his nieces and nephews.
Just pisses me off.
