so i was not liking my experience with my OB at all ( she pushes epidurals, c-sections, inductions, and looks at me like im insane when i mention delayed cord clamping) and i just switched to an absolutely wonderful, nice, and very experienced (25 years) midwife who is also fully bilingual (so she can help me figure out the paperwork more easily as french is my first language and sometimes i have troubles with legal and medical terms...
my mom and grandma do NOT like this! I have been tossed email after email and phone call after phone call about the ''inadequate'' abilities of midwives because ''only REAL doctors deliver healthy babies''.
i just dont know how to respond without saying anything rude, i want a calm, smooth, natural birth with a midwife and for some reason they cant respect that and im wondering if any of you have had to deal with this before?
