Mother's Day flowers--- unleashed Mil's crazy side.......help.

So the title says it all.

Based on my dumb decision, I found it thoughtful (because my sister and I sent our mother flower every year for Mother's Day) to send mil and gmail flowers for Mother's Day.


BG- DH and mil has a not so good relationship but distance has been our best friend. Mil was a shitty mother, and DH resents her for it and she knows. But overall they have a great (let's not ever talk about shit) relationship.


Ok on to the current issue, so gmil (fil's mom) is visiting with mil and fil for 2mths, so while looking for flowers to send to my mom I recommend to DH to send some flowers for mil and gmil.


Sooo, I ordered my mothers flowers 1st, then Mil's then I found a better price and the I ordered gmil's flowers....


So apparently gmil just got her "beautiful" bouquet and mil is fucking pissed.... I'm guessing after calling DH multiple time and not getting an answer she called me raging mad and crying......WHY? Because GMil got flowers and she didn't.


She called me cussing about how ungrateful we are and she knows that DH hates her, and that's a great way to rub shit in her face, and she was a great mom, blah blah blah..... Here is where I fucked up.. I listened to her lecture me on my DH, her parenting style, compared to hers.... Blah blah for like 12mins, I wanted to hang up on her but I don't want to start shit. I just hope once her flowers get to her we can talk this out like human's. I know I fucked up, I should have sent my mother flowers a let it end there....

So help me here wise ladies (and gents)
