A friend of mine recently found out her father sexually abused a family member and the children of family friends.
Her plan is a cut off of her father (rightly so), although I'm not sure what she will do about her mom. (Waiting to confront them and seeing if mom stays/goes before deciding).
It's more complex than that but it's not my story to share.
The question is: what do you say to the small children (3 yrs old) who won't be seeing grandpa (and probably grandma) ever again? They live in the same town. Friend isn't going to say that grandpa died, and her child is likely to ask for Grandpa.
Thanks, DWIL.
