Is My Normal Meter THIS Broken?? BG Llama noms pg 12

Long time listener, first time caller Smile

I've been in hospital for a couple of days, all fixed up with iv fluids and antibiotics and all better now.

Was really looking forward to getting home because this was the longest I'd ever been away from my 18mth old DD.

DuH works 30min out of town, PIL 30 min further than that.  DuH couldn't take any more time off work so took DD to work with him and had MIL pick her up for the day and planned to drop her back off after work - around 5pm.

I found out I was being discharged at lunchtime, text DuH to let him know, had a friend pick me up and waited patiently at home for DuH and DD to arrive home a couple of hours later.

DuH turns up home WITHOUT DD.

Tells me she is staying the night with PIL. I haven't seen her in two days and she has never stayed with them before.(Lots of BG, but MIL is my BEC at best, DuH and MIL are *super* enmeshed and DuH and FIL *kind of* own a business together)

Long story short, I demand that we go and pick her up.  Then, 45min into our 1hour journey to go get her, he fesses up that PIL have taken DD to their holiday home, 3 hours away.

They met us with her at the halfway point and some fairly extreme drama ensues after FIL tells me I clearly need "mental help".

How broken is my normal meter here ladies?  Am I clearly exhibiting the signs of a crazy person?  Or is there a bit much boundary stomping going on?

I can fill you in on the BG drama if your llama's are hungry, but wanted to get this in perspective first!
