BG: I am the youngest of 3 girls and for most of my life my middle sis and I have gotten along really well (I will call her s2). Last year I decided I wanted to get a new OB so I asked if she liked hers and what his name was. She said she did and gave me his name so I made an appt.
******TRIGGER******
I went to my first appt with him and for reason I will give detail on if asked he decided he wanted to do an endometrial biopsy. He gave me Cytotec to take 3 days before the procedure and I scheduled it for the following week. The morning I started taking the meds I began to have serious cramping that turned into cramping and bleeding. My plan was to go to the dr the following morning but before I had the chance I delivered a 13 week female fetus at home in my toilet. I didn't know I was pregnant and the dr hadn't done a pregnancy test before giving me the meds (which are commonly used to soften your cervix to induce labor). Needless to say I decided to sue this dr and called as a courtesy to let my sister to know what was going on. She asked me not to talk to her about it as she had a personal and professional relationship with this dr that she would like to maintain.
***end TRIGGER***
When I got pregnant again 3 months later she was also pregnant with her 2nd child. I was hesitant to share my news with her because my cousins wife had been pregnant at the same time s2 was pregnant with her first and it had upset her. I guess she felt like her thunder was being stolen. When I did finally share the news she said "seems like someone is always pregnant when I am. I can't ever just be pregnant by myself". :/
She was there for my baby shower and came to see my son in the hospital.
FF to a few weeks after my son was born. I went to her house for a family BBQ and accidentally let a detail about our pending lawsuit slip in front of her. As soon as I realized my mistake I immediately changed the subject and didn't bring it back up. She however decided to ask me to please not say things like that in front of her because it was very upsetting. Needless to say an argument ensued. She was saying "I don't know what happened I wasn't there" "are you sure there wasn't already something wrong with the baby that caused you to miscarry" etc. I just couldn't handle how hurtful she was being so I left. Apparently after I left the rest of my FOO kinda let her have it.
Now she has basically been avoiding me at all costs. I used to do her hair for next to nothing and now she gets someone else to do it at full price so she doesn't have to see me. She made me pay her $100 in order to keep using a breast pump she had volunteered to let me use before this came up.
Anyway...I just want to know what to do? I miss her terribly but I don't feel like I have anything to make right. She's just decided to avoid because my family "can't be neutral". Any advice?
