So here's the thing I've never had a good relationship with my mil, we tolerate each other at best. Anyway I found out recently that I'm pregnant with baby number two. When my husband who was very excited told his parents his mother had a melt down. Asking him things like how dare you have another when your son is only 10 months old, how the hell do you plan on supporting another baby and that's just the start. She later texted me and blew up my phone for a good 45 minutes complaining about it.
Now dh and I weren't trying for this but it happened and we're excited. I'm incredibly annoyed by mil's behavior. Yes I'm a stay at home mom and money can get tight now and then but we do just fine. Any suggestions on what to say to her? I'd love to put her in time out or cut her out completely as she was angry when I got pregnant with my son saying she didn't want her son to have children with me. The woman is insane to say the least.
