LO is three weeks old.

MIL is the one who made a nursery in her home (well many have).

The last two times we've seen MIL she has called me "the milk wagon" over and over. She'll be holding LO and PA say to him "yeah the milk wagon is still over there" when he looks my general direction.

I told DH this hurt my feelings and that I found it "rude" and generally "not very nice" and that "ima punch her in the face if she did it again" (I wouldn't really, but I was trying to tell him how serious I was). He told me I'm being too sensitive. So I told him id talk to her about it if she said it again.

Well he text MIL tonight and told her that it hurt my feelings. Ole girl flipped her shit. Decides to tell my DH how "offensive" I am.

I pride myself of being respectful. I was just raised to be. I don't question it.

FIL text DH and tells him how "offensive" he finds it that all I do when they come to MY HOME is sit around and eat cheese and wait to be waited on. Which is a damn lie. My DH is spoiled ass rotten by me. I do EVERYTHING in our home. All he has to do is cut the grass. He makes the money and I keep the home and I work full time.

Who is he or anyone to say how I act in MY HOME? I asked DH to tell me when I've acted that way and he has nothing to say.

Anyway, MIL can't keep her mouth shut about anything so I know she will bring this up. And she'll be flat out rude.

Help me DWIL.

I did tell DH that no matter what I was his wife abd they his parents. We don't have to like each other.

I want to be ready.
