A little background, I'll try to keep it short because I've got 24 years of being the punching bag. I will add more if needed.
I'm the black sheep in my family, I have no idea why. I've always flown under the radar and kept out of trouble, never back talked, I help out when asked but never ask for anything in return. I don't owe anything to anyone, I don't start drama, I have a great husband, nice house, good job, 2 amazing kids and am doing pretty good for myself. Still my dad treats me like garbage
He has always got my name in his mouth, criticizing my parenting, weight, marriage, anything. He never says anything to my face, always to my sister or husband(he works for my dad) anytime I try to talk to him he says I'm crazy and I'm just like my mom for not wanting my children to have soda except on special occasions, because I wouldn't let him give my 2 week old chocolate fondue, etc. My mom is narcissist drug addict that abandoned her kids. I am an amazing mom and am nothing like her or him so it drives me nuts. I have given up as I am sick of the drama and am going to cut off his family. My dad, his wife, my sister and whoever else asks for it.
Today was the straw that broke the camels back. My sister tried to pawn her dog off on me and I wouldn't take it. Well it got out of her yard (for the millionth time) and got hit by a car. I felt bad and sent her flowers. Soon after my Dad, step mom and sister are calling me a murderer because I wouldn't take her dog...
Not quite sure how to word it. We are in a tight spot because my husband works under my dad and he would likely retaliate and treat my husband like shit or fire him. He tried to switch departments to get out from under my dad and he threw a shit fit and demanded that they cut DHs pay by 2 dollars(didn't happen).
In a perfect world I could tell them all to FOAD, but sadly I can't. I really have no idea what to say :/
