So I have some issues with my MIL (who doesn't, I'm sure). Most of them are just me being sensitive and having a bad attitude sometimes(guilty as charged). But there's one that really bothers me. It's like she can't let her son, my husband, go! She can't seem to get over the fact that he's mine now! We've been together for over three years now and it's still a problem. I work some Saturday's and it's like she uses that time(every single time I work) to steal him away. It's always "I need your help with this", or "come help me grocery shop" or some other ridiculous request. I get that she wants to spend time with him.. But I feel really left out. She doesn't want to spend time with us.. She wants to spend time with him. We are due to have our first baby in 8 weeks.. And frankly, there's a long list of things for him to do around the house. But instead, he feels bad saying no to her.. So he goes along with whatever whim she has planned for the two of them. She also insists that they talk on the phone every single day.. We live 10 freaking minutes from her?! He's my husband now.. She had him for 22 years.. It's my turn!! She's lost her mind if she thinks this is going to continue after our baby gets here! I needed to vent.. Buy Mostly I need advice. Do I say something to her? Or is that his responsibility to say "no, sorry.. I have things to do today for MY WIFE at MY HOME." It's really becoming an issue..
