So i miscarried in october last year. My mil and fil told me and dh that we deserved it because i am a hairstylist and did it to myself by standing on my feet and coloring hair and they wouldnt come to see my grieving dh because bil highschool football game was more important than my unborn child. This blew up into a huge fight and we are jyst starting to mend the relationship now. And by we, i mean, dh and i. It is completely one sided but dh wants our child im pregnant with right now to know his side of the family. Im due in march. Mil hasnt asked once about my pregnancy, nor does she she know how far along i am. We saw them for lunch the other day which happens once every two months (we live an hour away) and she finally asked about our baby. They said they wanted to buy her crib and after they convinced us to let them ( i didnt want them to have anything over our head so i was extremely relluctant to ley them buy it. It was 400.00$) they went home and we hadnt heard from them in about a month after. Yesterday mil called and told me she made our birth plan. And shes so excited to be in the room holding my leg while video taping the birth! We had no intentions of even telling them when i go into labor. She was irate and wants to take the crib back now that she knows that they wont be present at the birth, but are welcome to come anytime after we go home. This is our first child. Should i give her the crib? No way will she be in the room videotaping while holding my leg! Theres too much bg to tell everything but our reasons are justified. I just have a hard time letting them in this pregnancy when they cared so little about our mc.
