BackGround:: My family has a unique situation going on. My son's father and I met while I was living out west. Upon learning I was pregnant I returned home, to the south, to live close to family. My now ex boyfriend, came along for the duration of my pregnancy and birth and has since returned to his home 2,000 miles away. He and I have an excellent parenting relationship and we see each other as often as we can. His Mother on the other hand has become the crass ass thorn in my side. She emails/texts every few days asking for pictures, and asking when we will be visiting (on my dime). I email her pictures roughly every week/ week an a half. But it's NEVER enough. Recently I sent a firm but kind, email reminding her that I work two jobs and take care of an infant and and while I know she misses him I really do my best to include her in what's going on with us. I assured her we will travel as soon as I can afford it ect. And yet tonight I return home from my 12 hour shift to an email requesting pictures ( I sent a video 4 days ago!!!!) and her passive comment that she's making her birthday wish for her grandson to visit. I am at my wits end. I need to know how often other people send out of town family pictures because honestly I feel like weekly is above and beyond. Especially considering I barely knew this woman before I was pregnant and I am not married to her son. Side note she asks me to call her Mom... On a regular basis. Please tell me what you think!
