I will be having a repeat c-section in April. I am not comfortable with with any visitors being there the day of the surgery and I am not sure I am comfortable with in-law family coming to visit at all.
I obviously have a back story to my not wanting family to come to the hospital, but it's a long story.....I am just not sure how to make myself clear as day that I wish to have no visitors especially in law family when I can sense DH wants them there.
I know he told MIL the date (which made me uncomfortable), but we agreed to not tell anyone and the other day he went and told SIL. Now I am afraid even if I say no visitors, people will show up uninvited. :-/
Edited to add that I am 1000% uncomfortable (to say the least) with people taking photos of LO....I will not even be posting any photos online to any of my own friends because in-laws have made me so uncomfortable. I don't know how to deal with that either....I don't even want dh taking photos because I have a gut feeling he'll send them to in-law family because he is oblivious to their nastiness (to put it nicely).
