I love my husband. But he can not stand up to his mother. We had a baby 2 months ago and she had gotten it in her head that she needs to be around ask the time so the baby knows who she is. So when I went back to work I was a bit hesitate about letting her watch the baby but my dh said that is his baby to and he wants her involved. But she second guesses everthing I do. After she watches her she will call that night and tell him about everything I'm doing wrong. My lo has reflux so she went out and bought new bottles and said that was the issue but I'm breastfeeding! She only gets a bottle when I'm not there. I wanted to try light threapy to get her sleep pattern flipped b/c she is waking up at 11pm and staying awake sometimes as late as 4am. So I read that blue light threapy especially in the winter could help fix it. So my mil called her sister who is a nurse to ask her about it. She said she never heard of it but the bulb could give the baby sunburn! No it can't! But my dh is so freaked out he won't let me use it anymore. The one day i was allowed she fell asleep at 11 and stayed asleep. Conincidence? Maybe we will never know. Then she calls last night to say she cried the whole time she was there b/c the baby dose not know her and my family has a higher registered voice so the baby is not comfortable with her lower octave voice! Really! ? So then after he got off the phone with her I asked him of I was a good mom he was quiet for a minute so I asked again. He said your just weird. He could not just say I was a good mom:. ( I am a ftm and I do read a lot of studies and I know I am a little out there with some stuff I do but I would never do anything I thought may hurt her. I just don't know how I can be with someone who let's someone else help form there opinion of me
