GMIL is in town and said she would make plans with us seperate from the family picnic so she could see us and the girls without having to "share" so today she calls my cell (apparently she couldn't reach DH?) and asks if we can see her Sunday,I told her that DH has a football game Sunday (he's the coach) and asked if we could see her Monday or Saturday,she told me she would have to call me back which was weird to me because wouldn't she know if she had plans? Anyway she calls back and days Saturday around 2 will work and I agreed but then a few minutes later she called again and changed the time to noon,I said ok and right before she hung up she said "oh MIL will be with us to!" I feel like this was a set up,GMIL knows we have been LC with MIL and have had a lot of issues with her,I'm starting to think this is going to be a "come to Jesus" talk and that's not happening,DH must have felt it to because he wants to cancel but hasn't been able to get ahold of GMIL (of course) I feel bad canceling the day. Am I overreacting or is this really an ambush?
