Before I got pregnant my relationship with my mil was very low we saw each other maybe once every 2-4 months. Once I got pregnant she started calling me almost everyday and always wanted to see me / belly . She started to become possessive and I started to see her true colors the lady has baby rabies MAJOR baby rabies. We have had several discussion regarding how things are going to be once DD is born(due date is Friday 6/28) . Long story short she is still saying/ doing things that I told her that bother me . She basically doesn't .the other day she said ( that everyone knows that I am DD mother but that she is mama ( mom in Spanish) I am Venezuelan and I call my mother mama. I quickly corrected her and she simply said she was going to leave us alone . Everytime I confront her about an issue she pulls the "screw you guys""I treat her like a stranger and she is always nice". Luckily DH agrees that his mom is insane. My question to you ladies is:
How would you ladies handle mil after labor/delivery ? Would you invite her to the hospital ? Would you wait until a few weeks after baby is born ?
