I have been on here a few times under different names. My quick background - my mother lives up her sisters arse. My aunt and her daughter are enmeshed bitches who work together at Kmart and constantly tired to belittle me for going to college, got angry because we refused to let them drink around our children. They are now CO from me after they acted bitchy towards me infront of my daughter. They have done things like arrange a vacation to celebrate my mothers 60th birthday and not invite me.
My mother knows they are CO and claims that she never saw them act horrible towards me (after making excuses for their behaviour). I told her that their behaviour was disgusting and I refuse to be treated like that. I speak to my mother about once a month.
On Christmas Day I called my parents on moms mobile to wish them a Merry Christmas (they were at my Aunts.). I said "Say Merry Christmas to Dad." Mom yelled out "Merry Christmas" to the room and I heard Aunt and my cousin yell back "Merry Christmas Hummingbird and DH and Tamsin and Harry." Very sickly sweet.
I hung up, but it gnawed at me and made my blood boil so I (probably immaturely) text Mom - "Just to clarify - I was wishing Dad a Merry Christmas, not overly enmeshed arseholes who are rude to me."
Obviously, I can see it's just years of being treated as shit that boiled over and got to me.
I haven't heard from mom since. I don't particularly care to call her. I'm so over it.
Was I disgustingly immature? Should I just have BH? I really didn't wants mom to think she can get away with that type of crap.
