Sorry for any mistakes, I am on my phone. I am a long time lurker and I love you ladies. I have my big girl panties on too so let me have it. I have a DF who is a huge DUF. His mother can do nothing wrong. She doesn't do anything big but she is a big time "devide and conquer" fan and tries to go around one of us when she doesn't get the answer she wants. ( DF and I have a DD together and she did this when we told her the baby would be Jewish, since I am, and would not be baptized). She is also super passive aggressive, won't be called grandma, doesn't awknowledge my baby unless its to act like grandmother of the year. I don't think she needs to buy her anything but you would think that after only having boys in her life she wouldn't have bought her something cute. She also does this weird thing where she will not admit my daughter looks like her daddy. She is his spitting image, looks nothing like me, and all my MIL can say is "wow, is she really dfs?" Like wtf. Anyway. My problem is with this weekend. We are going to be spending it with them at a house they rented. I know baptism is going to come up and so is me being a working mother and why I am not ready to get married to their son (he slept through my labor, it may be stupid but what man who loved his wife/fiancé/whatever do that? He wasn't there for me when I needed him the most, why would I want that for the rest of my life?). My question is how do I politely answer these questions. Bean dipping does not work in them!
