I've only been on here a few times so here's a little BG. Like most others on here my MIL is insane, very passive aggrasive, and claims she never does any thing wrong. We've put her on TO a couple different times for blaming any and all issues in her pour DSs life on me. I'm why he got laid off, I'm why he got the flu, I pushed him to get married, I pushed him into having kids, so on and so on. Anywho she put the final nail in her coffin a couple months ago. Dh and I had a fight and my DuH ran to mommy. Well after that I might as well have been some one night stand he knocked up. We've been married 5yrs and have 3 wonderful kids that she makes no effort to see. DuH wanted me and MIL to talk for one last shot at "fixing" our relationship. I said fine but this is my last effort. It went as I expected she took no blame said it was all my fault and she didn't want to talk about it. I told her if she walked away and didn't talk that she obviously didn't care about me her son or her grandkids and she wasn't going to treat us like that, to stay away and don't expect to hear from us. DH has been great the last couple months execept when it comes to dealing with SIL(FM). She always has her nose in the middle of stuff and is MIL little spy. I can't stand her she acts just like her mother and treats me like I know nothing. We put her on LC but DH wants to invite her to DDs b-day party. I am dead set against it. He says he doesn't want his mom around because of how she acts. Then says SIL acts just like her. So WHY IN THE HELL WOULD WE WANT HER AROUND. Am I wrong to not want this FM spying on DDs party and our family. We saw her last weekend and she kept leaving the room to call MIL I caught her at one point and she was telling her exactly what we were doing and saying. Sorry it turned out so long.
