I've read most of the "best of" threads, they're great for llamas and helping me build up my spine, and I apologize if this has been done. My LO is due in a few weeks, so she'll be a month by Thanksgiving and 2 by Christmas. Being born with 4 sets of GPs, I know there's gonna be some kind of shitstorm, especially because she's the first GC for 3 of the sets. Can I please get some(doesn't have to be these specific) holiday stories?
ETA: I finally remembered a story from my childhood, and I figured I'd add it into the first post so as to help inspire more, I hope!
When I was smallish, maybe 7ish, we always went to my dad's parents house for Christmas. And on Christmas Eve, all of the GC had to put on a play about the birth of Jesus. It was fun, from what I remember, until the year that my baby sister had to play Jesus. She was about 7 months old, fairly fussy, and my mom EBF'd. So imagine about 12 kids, ranging from 12 years to toddler age, trying to tell this "magical" story while the baby Jesus is screaming her head off and fighting with Mary. We got to the angels talking to the wisemen, and my mom decides she's had enough, picks up my sister, and walks to an empty bedroom. CBF from every adult, but we kids were so happy to just stop!! I think that might have been the last year we went to Grandmother's (yes, we had to call her Grandmother) house for a holiday.
