I have some background on here, mil is bsc. I convinced duh to move far away and she is pissed!
Duh and Ods call her occassionally to talk to Grandma. (I called her with him while duh was out of town on her birthday, but she whined to duh that she couldn't hear him and he wouldn't say much.) She talks over him and when he does speak she doesn't acknowledge it (I have asked my sister if she can hear him and she can so either mil is a jerk or losing her hearing)
But she constantly says 'I love you' all through the conversation. Every other freaking sentence. She waits like she is waiting for a reply but we don't force him to tell her he loves her. But I think she says it a lot. Should I say something to her? Is she trying to manipulate him? I find it annoying and needy/whiney sounding. But now I am wondering if I should tell her to stop. What do you all think?
