I know you all will tell it like it is so I need some advice... My hubby and I with our 3 kids live several states away from any family.. We are very close with my hubby's family and love them very much.. We have had the only grand kids for 9 yrs and have learned to enjoy the attention.. Hubby's brother and sister n law just had there first baby and we have been forgotten about big time... Hubby's brother and his wife only live one state away feom the in laws ( about 3 hrs)... MIL was suppose to come to our house in August to help us with our kids for a week since hubby was having surgery ( she was going to keep them for 4 days because we have to go to a big city) well hubby's brother and his wife decided to " need" mil at the same time..., MIL wants to keep the new baby instead of our kids so she broke it off with us though we have had these plans now we will be taking three kids with us to his surgery which is 6 hr drive away.. Anyways hubby has an awesome job and we love it here though we have no family... A good job came available in the state of his family.. We are considering taking this job so now that we are an aunt and uncle and our kids have cousins they can all be together on a regular basis.. This job is not as good as our current one except the benefits are better... The Main reason to take it is so we will be close to family... Are we crazy for leaving a great place where our kids thrive to move closer to family? Also one of the main reasons is because we know the bond our kiddos have with grandma and grand pa is going to jeopardized because of the new baby.. If we were closer t would make it easier on the grandparents to see our kids now that the visits will be a lot less since they go see the brothers kid more... I hope this makes since
