We are trying to train DD for potty training and it's been difficult. DD will be 3 in November. She doesn't tell us when she goes and doesn't mind a wet diaper or soiled diaper. She will sit on the potty in the morning and evening but nothing happens usually. We also tried underwear and she just peed.
DD goes to daycare full time and her teachers say she is not ready and does the not telling or even says no if they asked when she soils herself.
DD is in physical therapy for low tone and pronation. She wears SMOs. She didn't walk until 18 months. We are working on jumping and steps in therapy. I am thinking she may have some sensory issues and that is why she doesn't say anything.
MIL has offered to help to potty train her. I am wondering if we should take her up on the offer. I watch how much time is spent with MIL. But with the difficult time we are having, maybe the help might help. Thoughts?
