just once I'd like to slap my SIL....

Here it goes.... my DH and I have bee n together a little over two years. He had a very rocky past with his exes, and a nice case of ptsd after 4 deployments in 4 years with the marine corps didn't make matters easy. His wife left shortly after he got out, taking their son, everything in the house and about 10k out of the bank. He hooked up with an old friend, and through the wonders of broken condoms and failed bc pills had gotten her pregnant. She left when she was about 8 months along (for the 3rd time) and he wanted to be there for the baby, but he wouldn't be waiting for her to pull her head out of her ass.

Two weeks later we meet, and I fall for this jarhead who is willing to give the shirt off his back for a friend. I slowly realized that even though he has issues, he is a good man, and just wants to have someone put a little faith in him, and let him be a dad to his kids. He is amazing with my 9 yr old, and takes care of our 13 month old while I work.

The reason why his sister is such a an issue is... she is best friends with his second ex. To this day he has not seen his daughter, she is 2 and it's partially his fault for not fighting more in court, but his sister testified in his sons case that he should have supervised visits, and that he is a bad parent. Plus being jealous that her own sister was having a baby girl (she has 4 boys and can't have more) she posted a pic of her with my husband's daughter on Facebook right after she was told. Hell I even tried to get her involved in the baby shower for her own sister, and all she could do was get defensive about why I talk shit behind her back and why don't I like her.... she didn't even show up for it because she was 'sick'

I'd just like to slap her, once. My husband wouldn't give a damn, but I've come to respect their mother, and that wouldn't make her happy....ugh what a cluster fuck I've married into, I love my husband, but damn I REALLY wish I had met him a few years sooner..... then at least part of the drama would have been averted....
