Let me start out sayin that I do not have a good relationship with any of my husbands family excpet his two borthers. (ages 14, 20) Like some of you have seen in my other posts my husband is deployed. I decided to go home to my parents while he is gone so I can finish my college. Anyways I have called my in laws (they live about 15-20 min away) on weekly bases to see if they had time for me to come visit them. They always say yes later. I tell them to call me back so i know when to drive out. They either call back around the time I put LO down or dont call back at all. I have been here four months and they have only seen Lo once an that was because i went by unannouced since i was in the neighborhood. I hate just stopping by but when i call they say they dont have time or they are out running errands. Now there is alot of backstory that i really cant type all out. so i bulletpoint some
- husband was kicked out when he was 17
- i was called all sorts of names: slut, whore, etc
-MIL never talked to me, never wanted to meet me until i was pregnant
-nobody of his family cared about him or me until he joined the military and we got pregnant
so lets just say i know its his family but if my parents/sister ever disrespected him and me like that they be only seeing my ass walk away from them.
DH sucks up to them, kissing some ass and now forcing me to call them and talk to them. DH called them a few weeks ago and they made up a lie how i keep Lo from them on purpose and I dont try hard enough to see them. Also something how my parents get to see LO all the time( well no shit I live with them) Anyways I am to my wits end. Any advice about how to go at this problem with both Dh and his family?
One more thing. I love/adore my husband so much. But his family will be the reason in the future that we will divorce. I can only take so much.
